I got awards from both SINDA and MENDAKI for my A Levels.
If I was either pure Indian or pure Malay, I would have gotten one
award or the other, but not both. 
For those not in the know, SINDA and MENDAKI are the self-help
groups for the Indian and Malay communities... just as the Chinese
have CDAC and Eurasians have the EA.
